Stokvis Tapes Polska, a company offering innovative solutions in the field of gluing, insulating, joining, and protective materials, will move into the 7R City Park Gdańsk South II complex, currently under construction, in August 2022. Due to the expansion of its operations, the tenant will occupy approximately 11,500 sqm of warehouse and production space in the new location.
Stokvis Tapes is a manufacturer and converter of advanced solutions based on single and double sided adhesive tapes, EPDM, PE, PUR foams, nonwovens, silicones and many other products. The company works closely with the automotive, medical, electronics, construction, and renewable energy industries. Due to its rapid development, the company was looking for a partner that would be able to provide modern space for its production along with comfortable office space.
The dynamic growth of Stokvis Tapes is being generated by projects implemented for customers in the automotive segment, predominantly for Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche. The latest solutions implemented and produced by Stokvis are related to these brands’ electric models. The additional space in the new factory will be dedicated to activities for the electromobility industry, as well as for household appliances and electronics, i.e. wherever investments in modern technological lines are required. From the very beginning, we wanted a partner who would provide us with a fast implementation of this investment in a designated location, tailored exactly to our needs in terms of office space as well as production and warehouse space.
Jacek Duhanik, Business Unit Manager Poland/Russia at Stokvis Tapes
7R City Park Gdańsk South II is a warehouse and industrial complex located in Lublewo, Pomerania. It will consist of two buildings: the first will cover an area of 16,861 sqm and the second will be 11,012 sqm. Stokvis will move into the former with the production hall will be located on the first floor, while the company's office will be situated on the upper floor.
Our individual approach to the tenants' expectations is appreciated on the market - the project for Stokvis Tapes is another implementation in which we have adjusted the facility to the client's very specific production needs. Cooperation with Stokvis is the next step in expanding our portfolio of facilities for production in 7R logistics parks.
Marzena Taube, Senior Leasing Director at 7R
7R City Park Gdańsk South II is distinguished by its very good location. The property is situated next to the Kowale road junction allowing direct access to the Tri-City ring road and the A1 freeway. It is of key importance when tenants are conducting logistic operations. The complex is also within easy reach of Gdańsk city center, Gdynia and Sopot.
"The TriCity area is particularly important to 7R. We launched our first development project in 2008 in the area and we are regularly expanding our warehouse network here, building both parks, city parks and our city warehouses - City Flex Last Mile Logistics. The newest investment, 7R City Park Gdańsk South II, is a facility which has excellent connections with the TriCity agglomeration, making it easier for tenants to recruit employees. We are glad that Stokvis Tapes has decided to locate its operations in our facility.
Ryszard Gretkowski, Vice President of the Management Board of 7R
The network of 7R City Park facilities includes warehouses located within agglomeration boundaries, which have the ability to be adjusted to the specifics related to logistics and light production. The format also offers office space for interested tenants. The facilities are characterized by their high quality of construction and the use of the latest technological and environmentally friendly solutions.
Stokvis Tapes was assisted in the leasing process by Querco Property agency.
The priority in Stokvis’ search for space was to ensure the hall’s location was well connected to the urban area. The client wanted the new warehouse to be easily accessible, not only for logistical reasons, but above all for employee comfort. Another important aspect in the search was the manufacturing nature of the client's business. We focused on space that would enable the company to grow in the coming years without the need to move its extensive machine equipment. Space in an individual hall in 7R City Park Gdańsk South II complex is an exceptionally optimal solution.
